As their players migrate to Arizona, Texas Rangers not sure how many will be let into Canada for opener
The season opener is April 8 at Toronto, where COVID-19 travel restrictions remain in place for the unvaccinated.
Obviously, with big-league camp not officially starting until Monday, the Texas Rangers haven’t picked the 26 players who will be on their Opening Day roster.
The Rangers haven’t yet finished pursuing free agents and trades.
But there is another unknown in play, one that the Rangers are attempting to get resolved as soon as possible.
