Jeff Wilson's Texas Rangers Newsletter continues to grow. Hop on the paid-subscriber train now.
This Rangers news site has added readers each day the past three weeks. Keep it going for as little as $5.99 a month.
Thanks again to everyone who has signed up for another outlet for Rangers news for free and those who have upgraded their subscriptions. We’re growing together, and each new subscriber renews my faith that this thing is going to work out.
As previously stated, the goal is to get enough paid subscriptions to enable Jeff Wilson’s Texas Rangers Newsletter to go toe-to-toe with the legacy Rangers media outlets. That means getting on the road.
It’s not an impossible goal. In the meantime, I have the same access as all other beat writers even though I’m now my own boss. And, yes, I still consider myself a beat writer.
I’m also going to do this as long as you guys will have me.
So … if you’ve been thinking about going paid (there have been stories that only paid subscribers are getting in their email inboxes) or are unsure how to make that transition, here’s some help.
Start by clicking the Subscribe Now button above, or on this link to a story about the positive developments in the Rangers’ farm system so far this season. Rangers fans need to know what’s happening in the minors, as the prospect are, in theory, the guys who will lead the Rangers back to the playoffs.
The fine people at Substack take it from there. The process is fast and easy, and a subscription is far more affordable compared to other outlets.
Now is the time to upgrade. The draft is over, but news and interesting stories will grow from it. The trade deadline is July 31, and what happens there (or doesn’t happen) will shape the rest of the season and future seasons.
Just as the Rangers are changing, so is the journalism industry. Established scribes from other sports and a variety of areas of interest are finding a home on Substack. It’s good, quality journalism from writers you know and can trust. Hop on for the ride.
Thanks again for your support.
