ARLINGTON — That home opener, the 51st for the Texas Rangers, had a little of everything.

Taylor Hearn, the hometown kid, started Monday and was a master at damage control.

Adolis Garcia brought the Rangers back from an early deficit to Colorado.

Shaky defense allowed the Rockies back into the game, and they took the lead in the ninth.

Willie Calhoun provided some ninth-inning drama with a two-out game-tying home run.

And the replay umpire in New York ended the game on a controversial call.
