John Moore is wheelin' and dealin'. Prospects are on the move, and ownership's wallet is a lot lighter.

Say hello to the Texas Rangers’ new left fielder, Seiya Suzuki, who Newsletter contributor John Moore predicts will leave Japan (The Associated Press/Sue Ogrocki).

With the regular season done and the playoffs about to close out the divisional round, now seems like the right time to lay out my first prediction for the Texas Rangers’ 2022 Opening Day roster.

I mean, what harm is there in playing Armchair GM about 10 days after the 2021 season has ended? Chris Young will be going into his first full offseason as the Rangers’ general manager and maybe he looking for help anywhere he can find it.

Why not the opinions of a podcast host and longtime fan of the team? Yeah … this is a brilliant idea.

Here goes. Mock away.
