Sam Huff and Leody Taveras are not eligible to be on this list. With that in mind, neither is A.J. Alexy or Yerry Rodriguez.
Starting today, we count down from 20 to 16. But before we start, let’s list the five honorable mentions who did not make the top 20.
1B/DH Blaine Crim: Drafted in 19th round of the 2019 draft from MIssissippi College. ETA: 2023.
OF Bubba Thompson: Drafted in the first round of the 2017 draft from McGill-Toolen HS in Mobile, Ala. ETA: 2022, though he could be lost in the Rule 5 draft.
OF Steele Walker: Acquired in a trade from the Chicago White Sox for outfielder Nomar Mazara in 2019. ETA: 2022, though he could be lost in the Rule 5 draft.
RHP Ronny Henriquez: Signed as an international free agent in July 2017 from Dominican Republic. ETA: 2023.
Now, on to No. 20.
