Thanks for a great year of coverage, Jeff! I know it wasn't always fun and at times I'm sure it was excruciating, but there was some good stuff, too. The Newsletter has been part of the good stuff.
Only the strike-shortened season of 1981 stopped a worse run of losing seasons for the Rangers. As a fan that reads a decent amount of Rangers content, I didn't see much written about Chris Young this season. He has his work cut out for him to be sure. It will be interesting to see if a FA will sign here during a rebuild and how much it will cost (extra?) to do it. The saying goes "Hope is not a strategy," but it's a big part of what we have right now. We hope prospects pan out. We hope current players improve. We hope a few FA come our way. Man...that's a lot to ask of fans.
