I like your thinking. However, I would rather trade for both Matt Olson and Matt Chapman. This would give us all gold glove infielders to help all our pitchers, especially the young ones, and to attract free agent pitchers Brett Anderson and Kershaw. I would put Josh Jung in left field to compete with W. Calhoun and Zack Reks, and not spend money on Suzuki. I would try to keep Josh Smith and train him in centerfield to compete with White and Taveras in 2023, so that Garcia can move to right after C. Calhoun's contract expires.
Plug Taveras in CF and leave him there. I get that the excitement around Semien, Seager + has led to dreams of 22 contention by some. That wasn't the point of those signings, and even those guys know it.
Daniels & Young have a plan. Whereas rebuilding teams typically build, then add, this plan appears to be add, then build. The add part is almost complete, still missing one more bat and one more arm. The build is where Taveras, Jung and the young pitching, Hearn-Howard-Otto-Alexy-Winn, comes in. Plan is to bring it all together in 22. To set the culture, to improve individually and collectively, and to compete for division and playoffs in 23.
Preaching to the choir. John leads the Suzuki train and I lead the Taveras train. Taveras as an everyday center fielder was part of the original plan. It still needs to be the plan. The pitching is a vital component of the plan.

Stick to the plan.
