John Moore and I welcomed Emily Jones to talk about the Do It For Durrett Foundation, which honors the legacy of former DFW sports personality Richard Durrett. He died suddenly in 2014, leaving behind a pregnant wife and two young kids, and the foundation helps families who find themselves in a similar situation.
Emily and I are two of the six DIFD board members, and our main event was Saturday night at Legal Draft. This podcast gives background on Richard and the foundation, and also gives information on how to donate after the event.
The Recliner Nerd and I also talked about my trip to the fall instructional league, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Lots of good info on who looked good and who I talked to while in Arizona.
