One by one the Texas Rangers Baseball Podcast continues to check off the team’s top prospects as guests.
The first of the prospects to come on was third baseman Josh Jung, way back in September. He should make his major-league debut in 2022, and so should our latest guest.
It’s right-hander Cole Winn, the Rangers Minor League Pitcher of the Year who, like Jung, finished the season at Triple A Round Rock. Winn joined the show from Arizona, where he is working out this offseason.
And he’s playing some golf.
We talked golf (he’s very good) and baseball (even better) and his home state, the great state of Colorado (where I’m also a native). He joined the show as John Moore and I were playing Armchair GM.
We picked up that conversation after our talk with Winn, who, like everyone else has been just a great guest.
